“Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.” When we come across sweet animals that were born a bit different than the rest, that phrase begins to gain a lot more meaning. Pets really give us love like no one can explain and they bring so much joy to all of our lives, it’s only fair to return that favor.

Meet little Kanga. She was born with short front legs from a condition which resulted in underdeveloped radius bones. Cats that are born with this condition tend to sit on their rear with their arms up against their chest, resembling a squirrel or kangaroo. Her legs may be shorter but that doesn’t keep her from being full of energy and affectionate like any other cat, she never fails at making everyone smile in the shelter!

Kanga is a very special little girl, just like all the other animals who have unique qualities of their own!
