We love their soft paws, their beautiful eyes, and their long whiskers. Sometimes I wonder how differently my cats see things, or why their whiskers are so long. This educational video from BBC will answer those questions for us. Cats possess many attributes that give them their amazing athletic abilities, but one you might not have know of is their whiskers.

Located prominently on the sides of the face and upper lip, but whiskers also grow in stranger places such as the jaw line, and the back of their front legs. They use these as a key sensory tool for hunting their prey, testing to see if they can fit into snug areas, and visually measuring distance. This video shows you how a cat uses their whiskers to benefit them! This will really help all of us cat-lovers understand more about our little friends.

Share with your fellow cat-lovers, they might learn something new!
