Oreo the tuxedo kitty used to be a stray, but now she’s got a whole nursing home full of residents and staff to call her family!

Living at the St. Augustine Health Ministries in Cleveland, Ohio, this kitty will never have to worry about finding warmth, food, or love ever again.

“She’s like our family here,” says Carmen Delgado, receptionist of St. Augustine Health Ministries, in the video below. “She helps the residents, she helps the employees, and we just love her.”

Dana Carns, Director of Advancement, explains that many of the residents grew up with pets or had them before moving into St. Augustine. “I think it just brings a lot of laughter, a lot of smiles… a lot of those feelings of home,” she says.

And aside from boosting the morale of residents and staff, Oreo helps with other duties from time to time…

Watch a video of Oreo below:

Aww, what a sweetheart! It looks like the folks at  St. Augustine Health Ministries needed Oreo just as much as she needed them!
