Just last year we told you about Ludo, the Maine Coon from the UK who currently holds the Guinness World Record for Longest Domestic Cat. Ludo may soon lose his title to another Maine Coon, though. Omar, a colossal cat from Melbourne, Australia looks poised to take the crown. He was recently measured by his owner, Stephy Hirst, at an incredible 120cm – that’s nearly 4 feet of cat!

You may already be familiar with his fuzzy face – with over 8 million followers, he’s quite the hit on Instagram!

By the time Omar was a year old he already weighed 22 lbs. Now, at the age of three, he tips the scale at about 30 lbs. That’s a big boy!

Wondering what Stephy is feeding Omar to achieve that kind of growth? The secret seems to be the unusual diet of two scoops kibble for breakfast and raw kangaroo for dinner!

Omar has yet to be measured officially for Guinness, but we wish him luck! Watch out Ludo – Omar may be the new King Kong Cat!
