Brian, a cat who roamed the streets of Qatar, was discovered in a desperate state—emaciated and shunned even by fellow stray cats. His plight caught the attention of Happy Homes Animal Rescue after he was spotted hiding in a tree to escape from aggressive felines. Left alone for too long, his fur had become severely matted. Upon hearing about Brian’s dire situation, Yolanda, who operates Even Star Charitable Organization, sprang into action.

She rescued him and immediately took him to a veterinarian, where he was shaved and bathed, and his health was thoroughly assessed. Yolanda noted that Brian was overjoyed to be safe; he was an affectionate creature who purred the moment he met someone.

Yolanda reached out to Happy Homes Animal Rescue, located in New Jersey. Despite the distance, she was confident in their ability to care for him, given their past collaborations on rescuing other cats. The rescue team described Brian as sweet but understandably wary due to his rough past.

Before his journey to the United States, Brian enjoyed the comforts of a clean, warm bed, abundant love and attention, and a feast fit for a feline king. He was vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and microchipped, preparing him for a fresh start.

The National Park Service has a plan to potentially euthanize up to 170 feral cats under the guise of nuisance control. Demand a policy that protects these cats!

Within a month, Brian embarked on his journey to the U.S., where he met his new foster family, who immediately adored him. Now, in a loving home, Brian relishes every cuddle, soaking up the affection he had missed. He continuously seeks out snuggles from his foster family, savoring the warmth of love for the very first time in his life.
