It was a challenging day for Michigan Humane Society when they received a call about a kitten who badly need their help. The lovely 5-week old kitten was trapped inside a drain pipe in the Wyoming and Grand River area on the west side of Detroit. Rescuers needed to go above and beyond just to save this kitty’s life. They needed to dig out the drain pipe and crawl through it in order to reach the kitten. After an hour of work, they were able to retrieve and the kitten was given medical attention right away at MHS’ Detroit Center for Animal Care. This is one intense rescue.
